EHS Technician

Provides EHS support to oil and gas closure projects in the Bradford and Pittsburgh, PA areas.

• Conducts well site closure operations inspections
• Communicates with contractors and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures
• Conduct equipment inspection
• Ensure EHS paperwork is completed and maintained.
• Conduct Behavior Based Observations
• Completes EHS incident/near-miss reports
• Conducts investigation for root-cause analysis of any accidents/injuries
• Ensures implementation of EHS programs and procedures
• Other EHS activities as requested

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise:

• Experience within Oil &Gas industry preferred
• Apply EHS requirements to site work
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Able to communicate effectively with employees and contractors
• Project professional image to represent company and clients

 Physical Requirements:

• Ability to drive a vehicle to remote locations, including off-road settings
• Must be capable of walking significant distances on uneven ground in all weather conditions
• Over-night travel to Northern Pa two days a week.  Occasional weekend shift.

Education and Experience:

Degree in safety–related sciences, 3-5 years experience preferred.
