Linde is currently seeking a Field Sales & Service Coordinator to join the team in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
Job Responsibilities:
• Aggressively manage contracts and create specific customer action plans that support sales plan and maximization of contracts
• Ensure alignment with basin strategies by maintaining working relationships with regional camps and field superintendents; executing account strategies consistent with sales plan
• Function as a consolidated source of sales insight and develop and foster deep customer relationships in the field
• Coordinate support needs with NOC, Operations and Supply to fulfill supply agreements
• Maintain awareness of market conditions, competitive environment, activities and industry trends within in region
• Work closely with sales engineer to identify gaps or opportunities to introduce new products and services
• Responsible for the accuracy and sign-off of the e-shipper by authorized personnel
• Proactively engage field personnel of Operators and Service companies to influence key decisions with regard to our products, services and develop short and long term forecasts.
• Responsible for the overview and coordination (supported by Booster Pump Operator) of well site inspection / approval to align with Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) corporate philosophy.
• Acts as liaison with Operations, Transportation and Markets to ensure fulfillment of customer agreements/commitments and well completion.
• Ability to grow and manage multi-state territory requiring up to 50% overnight travel.
• Proactively develops sales pipeline and tactical strategies to generate near term growth with Operators and Service companies, which requires a strong presence in the field.
• Develop technical understanding of down-hole chemistry, well stimulation, basin geology, pressure gradients and customers’ requirements, processes and future needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years field sales experience - Bachelor degree preferred
• Experience in oilfield, energy or chemical industry highly desirable
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• PC & administrative/organizational skills including CRM, MS Office with Excel and PowerPoint required to efficiently analyze, plan and manage large geographic area
• Territory management; strong prospecting, negotiation & closing abilities
• Excellent reasoning and analytical problem-solving skills
• Developing account strategies, deep customer insight, knowledge of competitive landscape
• Ability to interpret technical market information and drilling data
• Maintain organized sales notes in CRM to ensure Linde has readily accessible history of sales interactions and updates on customer and prospect data
• Prospecting from multiple sources to develop new business
• Strong oral and written communication skills (Required)
