Responsibilities & Duties:
This position is responsible for establishing a presence in the Northeast and growing a new office for HGA, specifically in the Marcellus Shale.


POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage the P&L for the office
• Maintain an annual average of 75% billability for the office
• Manage the overhead cost for the office
• Perform day-to-day administration functions. Address and resolve any office related needs/issues, i.e., work hours, hiring and firing, disciplinary reviews, yearly evaluations, office assignments, office furniture, lunch and learns, etc.
• Provide management of production staff and interface efforts with corporate engineering with respect to workload
• Coordinate engineering/design efforts with corporate engineering group with respect to QA/QC
• Provide guidance of sales effort and coordinate with Corporate VP of Sales
• Implement corporate policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with respective Corporate Supervisor and/or Upper Management
• Coordinate and consult with Corporate Human Resources on any administrative issues
• Oversee all work to know any issues that need addressing with the customer
• Review weekly Project Management reports that pertain to your projects to resolve any internal/external issues
• Champion all projects
• Champion Customers for that office to develop stronger relationships
• Conduct social interaction with Client
• Participate in community activities, i.e., civic clubs, Chamber of Commerce, ABC, Manufacturers’ Managers Council, etc., to gain good exposure for HGA in the business community





RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide daily supervision of Document Manager/Receptionist
• Provide daily administrative functions for production staff
• Attend weekly corporate staff meetings via video conferencing
• Issue a weekly report to Executive Vice President
• Report any Client issues to Executive Vice President
• Attend internal project meetings, as required
• Attend project meetings with Client as much as possible to obtain a better understanding of their satisfaction
• Present any opportunities to Executive Assistant to include in Proposal Committee review
• Review and approve all proposals that pertain to your Clients
• Review and approve all engineering budgets that pertain to your Clients
• Review and approve all PCN’s that pertain to your Clients
• Review and approve all work orders that pertain to your Clients
• Review and approve all invoices that pertain to your Clients
• Determine staffing requirements and maintain a good balance for the workload
• Provide guidance and oversight, from a high level, for in-house projects

Qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree from an accredited college
• Minimum of 18 years of full-time engineering experience

CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Proficiency in Windows XP; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is required.
