This is a 1-day field course in the use of the hydric soil indicators for Pennsylvania.  There is no formal lecture for this course and all the discussion is in the field either in a soil test pit describing soils conditions and evaluating the presence of redoximorphic features, or looking a soil cores and preparing detailed soil morphological conditions.  This is hydric soils boot camp.  Come to this event to learn and put your hands in the soil.

The course is taught by Mr. Brian Oram, Professional Geologist and Soil Scientist with B.F. Environmental Consultants and this course is taught through the Wilkes University continuing education program.
