Don’t miss PIOGA’s traditional early-summer event—a mix of fun, networking opportunities and technical presentations. Registration is now available for the June 4-5 event at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Laurel Highlands.
Monday begins with a golf tournament on Seven Springs’ challenging 18-hole championship course. A maximum of 36 foursomes can be accommodated, so register your group right away (only two foursomes per company, please)! Single golfers are welcome too, and we’ll be happy to combine you into a foursome. The event begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
Or, choose sporting clays on one of the nation’s best facilities—great for novices and competitive shooters alike. The course includes 100 targets. Bring your own equipment or use equipment available from Seven Springs (please specify when you register). The tournament gets going at 10 a.m.
The Pig Roast festivities start at 1 p.m. and run until 10 that evening at the Seven Springs Ski Lodge/Foggy Goggle. There’s lunch from 1-2:30, music and networking through the afternoon, then the pig roast dinner at 5:30. Wrapping things up will be an awesome fireworks display by Little Big Shots after dark (weather permitting).
Tuesday’s “Nuts ‘n Bolts” technical seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Topics to be addressed include:
- Elimination of VOC emissions from engine-compressor sites.
- DEP erosion and sedimentation policy and ESCGP-2.
- Geologic characterization of deep saline formations in the Appalachian Basin and how they might be exploited for disposal.
- Plunger lift/optimization.
- Standards and procedures in fusing high density polyethylene pipe.
- Pad containment recommended practices and definitions.
- Comparison of production results from open hole and cemented multi-stage completions in the Marcellus Shale.
- SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) cloud services for water management, best practices.
